In the OC CAMFT April Newsletter CAMFT applauds healthcare workers and all of those on the front lines during the COVID-19 crisis including: doctors, nurses, healthcare staff, first responders, psychotherapists, grocery workers, delivery drivers, postal staff, sanitation and shelter workers.
To be added to the list of local OC mental health providers wanting to offer pro bono mental health services to the front line health care workers, providers are encouraged to complete the Google docs form at: OC CAMFT ONLY-THE COVID-19 PRO BONO COUNSELING PROJECT.
The local referral list is be shared with local hospitals.
The Google doc includes more information and notes that many healthcare workers may only be able to attend short appointments, for example 30 minute appointments. Also noted is that this is intended for short-term treatment during the crisis and that you may have your information removed at any time.
