Parenting is hard work. At Parent with PRIDE, I will help you work smarter and not harder. It is my belief that all children have the power to change and grow, can improve communication & relationships with peers and adults, & can succeed with the right tools & coping skills. I'm a firm believer in collaborating with you to identify the right plan to address the challenges that you &/or your family identify. It's important to me that you feel comfortable in our sessions & that you are always able to communicate your needs, as well as what parts of the process you find to be the most beneficial.
As a therapist certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, my specialty lies in improving and enhancing the relationship between a young child and his/her parent. It is through the early development of a strong parent-child dynamic that helps the child create healthy and respectful relationships with others.
I also support children through educational advocacy, including participation in IEP meetings. I strive to work with teaching staff and parents through a collaborative approach to help children reach their learning potential and utilize healthy coping skills with peers and school staff.
I look forward to meeting with you and working together to improve your peace of mind and well-being.
