I specialize in child, adolescent, and young adult issues, particularly, addictions, trauma, and LGBT concerns. I have conducted therapy with worker's compensation and personal injury patients at IBEMED/Healthpointe, substance abusing teens at Juvenile Drug Court, and community college students at Orange Coast College. I have also worked as a mental health evaluator and prospective adoption consultant, and crisis interventionist for a suicide hotline.

I have received extensive training in the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing theoretical orientations. I also received training in addictions treatment, trauma, neurocognitive and medical impediments, chronic pain, LGBT issues, human sexuality/kink awareness, Internet Addiction Disorder/excessive technology use, patient advocacy, and empowerment.
